Konnakol is the art of vocal percussion and the leading artist in this craft is T.H. Subash Chandran. Considered the "King of Konnakol", Sri Subash Chandran acheived his art through learning from his father but states that it came natural. He is one of the few remaining artist practicing this craft. He has recently recorded a new DVD for learning Konnakol that will be released in September 2007
